Summary

This project was carried out for a major American energy company to design the interface of new EV charging stations for the US and Canadian markets. The goal was to deliver a seamless and intuitive charging experience while opening opportunities for additional services and membership programs.

The project was destined to the North America and Canada market.

The Problem

EV charging can be complex for new users, with unclear steps, scattered information, and different expectations across markets. The challenge was to simplify the process, making it both fast and informative, while also aligning with local consumption habits.

Pain Points

What I’d Do Differently

Involve local users in usability testing earlier to ensure cultural alignment
